                                                 God "IS"

Ever wonder how every thing around us, in the big scheme, is in balance!

It is as if the great Intelligence, in its master plan, knew every thing before

every thing else ... i.e. IT knew every thing at one and the same moment.

We do not need to go very far to experience it... just till the tip of our nose

and we know it. We need oxygen to breathe, and we give out carbon dioxide.

The great Intelligence knew it, and it created the plants and the trees

that absorb carbon dioxide and give out oxygen, in return, thus maintaining

the balance!

The Sun gives us the heat and light essential for survival, but the Intelligence

kept it at the right distance from us... not so close as to burn us with its heat,

and not so far as to keep us in the dark or in insufficient light.... in balance!

Some insects can be nuisance for us, but they are food for the birds. Every

thing needed for survival is provided to every one ... the insects have been

given instincts that tell them of the imminent danger. The cockroach stops

and acts dead ( some time even up side down) as it perceives the vibration

from our foot steps. There is a scheme every where, there is a balance!

The birth of a baby, or any off-spring, or a plant ... every birth is a miracle.

Every mother is a miracle!

With so much balance around us, with so many miracles around us,

how can we not believe in Divine Intelligence, whether we call IT God,

or by any other name? How can we not be in a reverential awe?

God has created a huge क्षेत्र ... a huge field for us to play in ... with

mystery strewn all around us. We have a question, we discover the

answer to it, and soon we have more questions and more answers, and the

play goes on and on. And this play is a part of the divine master-plan ....

there will never be a time when, as mortals, we will know every thing, and

there will be nothing more to know. This is why our rishis wanted to know

about that Knowing Which Every Thing Is Known, ( or Knowing Which

Nothing More Needs To Be Known ).

To believe in God, in our quest for answers to successive questions,

it is not necessary that we reach a point beyond which we have no answers,

and that we attribute the 'unanswerable' to God, thereby recognizing His

presence. The wonders, the play, the miracles around us are enough to

prove His existence.

The more humble we are, it is easier to 'experience' God. The more we

know God, the less gets our ego. Our un-ripe ego is a major obstacle in

our quest to know Him.

Einstein, Oppenheimer, etc., with all their genius, reached a  point in

their exploits of science, when they wondered in awe ...and, in utter humility,

they recognized Him. They were convinced of the divine Intelligence.

God does not have to be an external entity, though for most of us, the thought

of God right away invokes the concept of some thing external to us ....

i.e. Him and us, Him and I.

Sharing with you my personal experience, it is easier for me to conceptualize

God by starting with 'external to me' and then moving on to 'internal within me'.

When I do contemplation/meditation, I feel the Peace inside, I feel the expansion

within me. I do not feel 'the little me in the little space inside', in fact, in those few

moments, I do not feel the 'me', but only a vast space with no boundary at all ...

akin to Akasha. I am calling it 'space' due to limitations of language, I really do not

know what to call it, for it really is not space as we know it. In doing so, for those

few moments I lose touch with the concept of time, i.e. I am not conscious of time,

till I step back into  'my limited world of limited mind' that conceives specific borders,

physical and mental limits, and the resultant limitations. Unfortunately, these spans

are 'extremely' short.

Most of our perceived limitations can be traced back to our learned behavior that

has been taking control of us since our childhood, from the time we started learning

any thing. As we remove or perceive less limitations, we get more in awe as we

experience this change in us.

Our thoughts carry our energy, and we transmit our negative or positive energy

to others. Do we create our thought? Or, does the thought come to us all of a sudden

without our knowledge? Do we, or can we ever, plan the time and place for even a

single thought? No, No.

Therefore, there has to be some divine Intelligence creating our thoughts.

Thoughts result in our emotions, and our emotions give rise to more thoughts.

We can control some of our thoughts by controlling our emotions, but we cannot

create thoughts via our own volley.

Our breath defines if we are alive or not. In the normal course of events,

who decides if we will have another breath or how many more? Just this one

concept is enough for us to affirm our belief in the existence of God.
