Response to Discussions

Dear friends:

As many of us have noticed, usually there is not much response to the discussions at various Groups. This is true with English poems, as well, and one feels like a loner walking at night in the darkness in a big city with no street lights. Some response ( street light ) feels good to the writer, making him/her feel that the effort was worthwhile. Where as we need to curb our ego, this is not the gross ego. A writer's ego is a very subtle ego, and upon receiving responses, it encourages the writer to be more creative, and to continue on the path.

 

I respectfully urge members of all Groups to consider the above thought and see how we all can be supportive of creative ability of each other, by giving constructive comments to the discussions more frequently than we do now.

Well shared Resp. Vijayjee.. .

I am very much with you that those who are the members of the group should come out with comments on the post, making the writer judge the status of the post.  A comment guides the writer and encourages him/her.  But we must accept as well that English does not appeal to a maximum of our members unless there is professional compulsion. But members must second or reject the post based on the content. At least should they say whether the efforts by the writer is positive.

आदरणीय विजय जी की बात से मैं पूरी तरह सहमत हूं। मैंने यह बात महसूस की है। मेन पेज पर भी मैं यह महसूस करता हूं कि कुछ गिने चुने व्यक्ति हैं जिनकी टिप्पणी लगभग हर रचना पर मिलती है। शेष कभी कभार कहीं कहीं नजर आते हैं। यह हतोत्साहित करने वाला माहौल है। कुछ सदस्य तो मेरे विचार से ओबीओ पर आते हैं अपनी रचना पोस्ट करते हैं और निकल लेते हैं। इनमें से कई तो अपनी रचना पर प्राप्त टिप्पणी पर आभार भी व्यक्त नहीं करते। ऐसे में अन्य रचनाकारों का हतोत्साहित होना लाजिमी है।
समूहों की स्थिति और भी खराब है। मैंने भी एक समूह में एक लेख पोस्ट किया था परन्तु कोई टिप्पणी नहीं प्राप्त कर सका। इस स्थिति से रचनाकार का उत्साह कम होता है।
सभी सदस्यों को यह समझना चाहिए कि अन्य रचनाकारों की रचना पर टिप्पणी करना एक ऐसा कर्म है जो स्वयं को सुधारने का अवसर प्रदान करता है। हम जब किसी रचना का विश्लेषण कर उस पर टिप्पणी करते हैं तो हमें यह भी पता चलता है कि किस तरह की कमियां रचनाओं में रह जाती हैं और किस तरह की चीजें पाठक को अखरती हैं।
मेरा भी सभी सदस्यों से अनुरोध है कि सभी रचनाकारों की रचनाओं पर अपनी टिप्पणी दर्ज करने का प्रयास करें।

exactly well said ......members  should atleast spare time to comment ,,,not on all the post but if  possible , to encourage good  poetry .........it gives a boost to a new writer or member of the group .....i want to put forward a suggestion ........that if  some post is not up to the standard ...of the group or carrying some technical flaws or mistakes the group should encourage the poet by accepting it with some suggestions or  desired modifications , ...
