QUES.1: What are these two nuclear armed neighbors, India and Pakistan fighting over ?

When India and Pakistan won independence from Britain in 1947, Kashmir was given the choice of being governed by either country. While Maharaja, Hari Singh, then provincial leader of Kashmir preferred independence, he allowed the key powers of government to be given to India in return for military protection. Since then, India and Pakistan have fought three wars over Kashmir: one in 1947-1948, the second one in 1965 and latest in Kargil in 1999.

QUES.2.: Which are the three militant factions operating in Kashmir?

1.Hizbul Mujahideen                      2. Lashkar-e-Toyeba                              3. Harkat-ul-Mujahideen

QUES.3: From which country, Pakistan is getting extensive technical assistance for nuclear arms development?

China

QUES.4.: Describe threat of nuclear war between India and Pakistan and shed light on no first use policy.

As both India and Pakistan are armed with nuclear weapons, the possibility a conventional war could escalate into a nuclear one. Indian Foreign Affairs Minister said on June 5,2002 that India would not use nuclear weapons first, while Musharraf said on June 5,2002 he would not renounce Pakistan's right to use nuclear weapons first.

QUES.5: Why making of nuclear bomb is easy today than middle of twentieth century?

Making of nuclear bomb is easy today because more than 80% technology is well available in books and internet. The only thing country needs is a large amount of money.

QUES.6: How nuclear weapons reach their target? Name some missiles of India and Pakistan.

Rocket engine based ballistic missiles carry nuclear weapon to its target. AGNI, PRITHVI, BHRAMOS are some missiles of India. Shaheen IRBM  Ghauri missile is a Pakistani missile.

QUES.7: Kargil war was the first war in history that was caused by nuclear weapons. How?

When Pakistan tested its nuclear weapons in 1998,it felt so secure and felt  it can fulfill its policy objective without Indian retaliation, hence sent forces across the LOC because of nuclear shield which Pakistan thought will prevent Indian deterrence, because of threat of nuclear weapons.

QUES.8:Having nuclear weapons is an option for protection or destruction of society. Highlight your view.

Nuclear weapons are, simply, the most indiscriminately inhumane weapons ever invented, and the only ones capable of destroying life on this planet. There is only one answer to all these threats: stopping the further spread of nuclear weapons once and for all, and reducing the existing stockpiles to zero.

Madam Dr. Prachi singh ji, your question No. 8 is very important which gives the gist of the problem raised by you, But who would be ready to initiate for the destruction of nuclear weapons and to stopping the the further spread of nuclear weapons. The nuclear treaty and its abide by all the nuclear countries is the matter of honesty. May God teach the leaders of the nuclear countries to come together to solve the burning problem for the sake of mankind.

My sincere thanks to raise the matter to think and it should be spread through media at large to think over by all.

Thanks Resp. Laxman Prasad Ladiwala Ji, for talking on the gist of this issue of weapons of mass destruction.

Having terrible examples of Hiroshima and Nagasaki before us, I am sure no one wants its repetition anywhere in the world today.

To stop this malpractice (of nuclear arms development) different organizations working for the welfare of human beings, framed various strategies like nuclear warfare strategy that deals with preventing or fighting a nuclear war. Next one is nuclear deterrence, which includes preventing an attack by a nuclear weapon from another country by threatening nuclear retaliation. As another warfare strategy many nations signed Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty in 1996. As an ideal strategy Nuclear Disarmament, referring to both reduction and elimination of nuclear weapons is required, so that the world can be liberated  from nuclear threat.

This issue could have political, emotional and patriotic conclusions but I would prefer to be more humanitarian and like to say: A nuclear weapon is not only an indication of imminent harm to India or Pakistan, but is a threat to global peace. These are simply the most indiscriminately inhumane weapons ever invented, and the only ones capable of destroying complete civilizations and life on this planet.

Dr. Prachi ji you are saying and thinking positively that “a nuclear weapon is not only an indication of imminent harm to India or Pakistan, but is a threat to global peace. These are simply the most indiscriminately inhumane weapons ever invented, and the only ones capable of destroying complete civilizations and life on this planet”.
These several organisations working globally must conclude early by making consenus and come forward to act accordingly to destroy the most indiscriminately inhumane nuclear weapons and to prevent for further creation of these. May God help to think positively
Thanks again for the views expressed in the right direction.

first of all thanks for this section.to you Dr Prachi

in regards to the nuclear weapons is an option for protection or destruction for society . i am of my opinion these nuclear weapons should not be allowed to be invented having a thought of creating havoc or treat to human society ,world society like UNO or other forum like this , ought to impose sanction over , even inventing them , if at all invented thier testing should be banned , or using them anyway against human race .....the counties having concern for counter retaliation engage themselves meticulously in collecting more & more nuclear powers . so world organisations should try to apply various sanctions on the countries doing this .

Thanks respected Ajay Sharma ji for sharing your opinion, in this regard.

//nuclear weapons should not be allowed to be invented having a thought of creating havoc or threat to human society//

Invention of All the weapons of mass destruction must be banned, they are really inhumane and really an international policy is required to strictly prohibit their invention as well as to destroy all the already existing nuclear weapons, to make world free of nuclear terror.

Thanks for your views.
